Arkansas High School Basketball - Mayflower knocked off by Baptist Prep

The Baptist Prep Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Mayflower Eagles to 48 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perryville for a 3A Region 5 contest on Friday, December 8. Baptist Prep will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 63-34 league loss to Lamar (Lamar, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-2.
The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Atkins (Atkins, AR). The Red Devils enter the 3A Region 5 contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Atkins ran past Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR), 51-24, in a league contest.
