    The Linden-McKinley Panthers basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Beechcroft Cougars to 24 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

    The Panthers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whetstone for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Linden-McKinley will battle a Braves team coming off a 39-32 non-league loss to Franklin Heights (Columbus, OH). The Braves record now stands at 0-2.

    The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Northland (Columbus, OH). The Vikings enter the Columbus City - North contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Northland was defeated by Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH), 39-30, in a non-league contest.
