With the victory, Sigourney improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Savages host English Valleys (North English, IA) to play the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Friday, December 8. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. English Valleys won 62-30 in their recent league challenge against Keota (Keota, IA)

Next up, the Plainsmen play the North Tama Red Hawks (Traer, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Belle Plaine will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Red Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 56-39 league loss to GMG (Garwin, IA).
