Bradford Owls (Bradford, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA), 46-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bradford upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA) to play the Terrors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Terrors come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Otto-Eldred lost 43-33 in their recent non-league bout against Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY)

Next up, the Oilers play the Brookville Raiders (Brookville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Oil City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 32-27 non-league win over Kane (Kane, PA).
