Brinkley Tigers (Brinkley, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR), 57-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Brinkley upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers host Clarendon (Clarendon, AR) to play the Lions in a 1A Region 5 bout on Friday, December 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Marvell Mustangs (Marvell, AR) in a 1A Region 5 bout, on Friday, December 8. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
