Kentucky High School Basketball - Graves County nudges Calloway County

December 5, 2023: Mayfield, KY 42066

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY) basketball team held off the visiting Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY), by a score of 45-42.

The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Graves County will battle a Marshals team coming off a 46-29 non-league win over Green Hill (Mt. Juliet, TN). The Marshals record now stands at 3-0.

The Lakers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Christ Presbyterian Academy was tipped by The Webb School (Bell Buckle, TN), 74-39, in a non-league test.
