Nevada High School Basketball - McQueen tops Carson

December 5, 2023: Reno, NV 89523

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) and the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), saw McQueen's basketball squad knock off Carson by a count of 36-27.

With the victory, McQueen upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Reed (Sparks, NV) to play the Raiders in a 4A Northern challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Senators play the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 36-27 non-league win over Dayton (Dayton, NV).
