Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA), 43-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Summit Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Hampton Christian Academy (Hampton, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Hampton Christian Academy won 51-12 in their recent league bout against Gateway Christian (Virginia Beach, VA)

Next up, the Royals play the Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) in a Capital bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Cristo Rey will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 66-57 non-league loss to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA).
