The DeKalb County Tigers basketball team (Smithville, TN), was overwhelmed 67-44 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN)
The Owls now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cannon County for a non-league battle on Friday, December 8. Smith County will confront a Lions team coming off a 53-47 non-league loss to White County (Sparta, TN). The Lions record now stands at 6-3.
The Tigers (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Warren County (McMinnville, TN). The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Warren County was overwhelmed by York Institute (Jamestown, TN), 44-25, in a non-league battle.
