Richards Panthers (Richards, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dime Box Longhorns (Dime Box, TX), 37-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Richards upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to McDade (McDade, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 1A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-1. McDade won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Calvert (Calvert, TX)

Next up, the Longhorns clash with the Cornerstone Christian Academy (Bryan, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Dime Box will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
