Travis Rebels (Austin, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Eastside Early College Panthers (Austin, TX), 38-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Travis upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Rebels travel to Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Valley Mills won 36-28 in their recent non-league bout against Mart (Mart, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Crockett Cougars (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 bout, on Friday, December 8. Eastside Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 62-22 league loss to Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX).
