Malad Dragons (Malad, ID) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Firth Cougars (Firth, ID), 75-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Malad upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Dragons host North Fremont (Ashton, ID) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Cougars play the Bear Lake Bears (Montpelier, ID) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Firth will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
