Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Bears (Porterville, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Granite Hills Grizzlies (Porterville, CA), 44-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Summit Charter Collegiate Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Kings Christian (Lemoore, CA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the Strathmore Spartans (Strathmore, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Granite Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 44-43 non-league loss to Fowler (Fowler, CA).
