Hubbertville Lions (Fayette, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL), 66-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hubbertville upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Lions host Phillips (Bear Creek, AL) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Phillips lost 80-51 in their recent league bout against Vina (Vina, AL)

Next up, the Stallions play the Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. South Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 61-15 league win over Oakman (Oakman, AL).
