The Jackson County Central Huskies basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting St. James Saints to 53 in the Huskies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martin County West for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Jackson County Central will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 44-37 non-league win over Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-0.

The Saints (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Indians enter the non-league match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Sleepy Eye crushed Springfield (Springfield, MN), 74-48, in a league match.
