Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lamar Warriors (Lamar, AR) and the visiting Perryville Mustangs (Perryville, AR), saw Lamar's basketball squad wallop Perryville by a tally of 63-34.

With the victory, Lamar improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Dover (Dover, AR) to play the Pirates in a 3A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 8-1.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Baptist Prep Eagles (Little Rock, AR) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, December 8. Perryville will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 56-48 league win over Mayflower (Mayflower, AR).
