With the victory, Leake Academy improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host Lamar (Meridian, MS) to confront the Raiders in a MAIS 5A District 2 challenge on Friday, December 8. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Lamar won 64-39 in their recent league challenge against Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS)

Next up, the Crusaders confront the East Rankin Academy Patriots (Pelahatchie, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 2 challenge, on Friday, December 8. Park Place Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 57-51 league loss to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS).
