Wisconsin High School Basketball - Merrill knocked off by Marshfield

The Marshfield Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Merrill Bluejays to 47 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln for a Wisconsin Valley contest on Friday, December 8. Marshfield will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 68-28 league win over D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-2.
The Bluejays (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wausau West (Wausau, WI). The Warriors enter the Wisconsin Valley contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Wausau West was outscored by Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI), 51-43, in a non-league contest.
