Texas High School Basketball - Winona knocked off by Maud

The Maud Cardinals basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Winona Wildcats to 22 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pewitt for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Maud will meet a Brahmas team coming off a 30-27 non-league win over Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 2-9.
The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mineola (Mineola, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 3A Region II District 13 contest with a 5-7 record.
