The Saydel Eagles basketball team (Des Moines, IA), was overwhelmed 51-26 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA)
The Cubs now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Marshall for a Heart of Iowa battle on Friday, December 8. Nevada will confront a Trojans team coming off a 52-35 league loss to Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-2.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Diagonal (Diagonal, IA). The Maroons come into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Diagonal was overwhelmed by Lamoni (Lamoni, IA), 62-16, in a league battle.
