The North Jackson Chiefs basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Section Lions to 46 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chiefs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Hope for a 4A Area 14 contest on Friday, December 8. North Jackson will meet a Indians team coming off a 60-56 non-league loss to Susan Moore (Blountsville, AL). The Indians record now stands at 4-6.

The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ider (Ider, AL). The Hornets enter the 2A Area 15 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Ider nudged Fyffe (Fyffe, AL), 69-47, in a non-league contest.
