St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Randolph School Raiders (Huntsville, AL), 49-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. John Paul II upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Westminster Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Area 15 bout on Friday, December 8. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Raiders play the Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots (Grant, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Randolph School will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL).
