The Rutland Hurricanes basketball team (Macon, GA), was overwhelmed 53-17 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA)
The Warriors now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dublin for a non-league battle on Friday, December 8. Wilkinson County will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 59-30 non-league win over Toombs County (Lyons, GA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 5-0.
The Hurricanes (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Macon, GA). The Chargers come into the AA Region 2 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Central was overwhelmed by Buford (Buford, GA), 77-55, in a non-league battle.
