The Tipton Tigers basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Wilton Beavers to 39 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Liberty for a River Valley - South contest on Friday, December 8. Tipton will meet a Comets team coming off a 61-33 league loss to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Comets record now stands at 1-3.

The Beavers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Mediapolis was outscored by Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA), 59-52, in a league contest.
