Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR), 48-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Westside upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-3. East Poinsett County lost 67-49 in their recent league bout against Earle (Earle, AR)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR) in a 4A Region 3 bout, on Friday, December 15. Trumann will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
