West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Hurricanes face the Long Beach Bearcats (Long Beach, MS) in a 6A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, December 8. West Harrison will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 1-0 league win over George County (Lucedale, MS).
The Panthers now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Resurrection Catholic for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. Pascagoula will face a Eagles team coming off a 7-0 league win over Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
