Altha Wildcats (Altha, FL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vernon Yellowjackets (Vernon, FL), 34-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Altha upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Aucilla Christian (Monticello, FL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Aucilla Christian won 35-28 in their recent non-league bout against Branford (Branford, FL)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Wewahitchka Gators (Wewahitchka, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Gators come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 36-25 league loss to Port St. Joe (Port St. Joe, FL).
