North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC), 63-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Brunswick upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Northside - Jacksonville won 45-26 in their recent non-league bout against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC)

Next up, the Gators play the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. East Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 54-33 non-league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC).
