The Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) basketball felled the visiting Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC), 70-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (5-1) will now prepare for their test against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, South Johnston thwarted Midway (Dunn, NC), 42-40, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Purnell Swett for a test on Friday, December 15.
