Nevada High School Basketball - Spanish Springs knocked off by Reno

The Reno Huskies basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Spanish Springs Cougars to 30 in the Huskies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowry for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Reno will battle a Buckaroos team coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Buckaroos record now stands at 0-2.

The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Vaqueros enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Fernley ran past Sparks (Sparks, NV), 54-17, in a non-league contest.
