The Anderson County Mavericks basketball squad (Clinton, TN), was nudged 65-61 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN)

With the victory, Halls advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN) to meet the Wildcats in a 4A District 3 battle on Tuesday, December 10. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 2-1. Oak Ridge lost 64-51 in their recent non-league battle against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Mavericks now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lenoir City for a non-league battle on Friday, December 6.
