The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Rocori Spartans (Cold Spring, MN) and the visiting Apollo Eagles (St. Cloud, MN), observed Rocori's basketball team overcome Apollo by a margin of 73-62.

The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Princeton (Princeton, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Princeton dropped by Foley (Foley, MN), 78-63, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Detroit Lakes Lakers (Detroit Lakes, MN) in a AAA Section 8 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Apollo will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 90-50 non-league loss to Bemidji (Bemidji, MN).
