In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Center Hill Mustangs basketball team scored a close 48-42 triumph over the Saltillo Tigers.

The Mustangs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Chargers go into the 6A Region 1 contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Grenada was tipped by Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS), 71-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the New Site Royals (New Site, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Saltillo will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Royals go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 61-48 non-league loss to Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS).
