The Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions to 36 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Smyer for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Kingdom Prep Academy will play a Bobcats team coming off a 53-48 non-league win over Southcrest Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Christ the King Cathedral falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Golden lions travel to Hart (Hart, TX) to play the Longhorns in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Longhorns go into the game with a record of 2-2. Hart won 51-43 in their recent non-league game against Friona (Friona, TX)
