The Cougars now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to East Rankin Academy for a MAIS 5A District 2 bout on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, Copiah Academy falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Colonels host Oak Forest Academy (Amite, LA) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Monday, December 9. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Oak Forest Academy won 56-53 in their recent non-league bout against Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS)
