High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent can't hold off Delaware Valley Friends

Delaware Valley Friends (Paoli, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 37-36 in a league match.

With the victory, Delaware Valley Friends upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The host International Christian (Philadelphia, PA) to face the Titans in a Penn-Jersey match on Tuesday, December 10. The Titans enter the match with a record of 0-1. International Christian lost 46-44 in their recent league match against Kimberton Waldorf (Kimberton, PA)

The now sport a 90-401 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laguna Hills for a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. Varsity Opponent will face a Hawks squad coming off a 78-63 non-league win over Portola (Irvine, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-3.
