The Headland Rams basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Houston County Lions to 38 in the Rams non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Rams now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Geneva County for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Headland will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to Wicksburg (Newton, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Houston County falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Slocomb (Slocomb, AL) to confront the Red Tops in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Red Tops go into the game with a record of 4-3.
