The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mooseheart Red Ramblers (Mooseheart, IL) and the visiting Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL), observed Mooseheart's basketball team knock off Islamic Foundation by a score of 80-61.
The Red Ramblers (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Christian Life (Rockford, IL). The Eagles come into the Northeastern challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Christian Life gained a win over Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL), 51-45, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Islamic Foundation falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Westmont (Westmont, IL) to play the Sentinels in a non-league bout on Monday, December 9. The Sentinels go into the bout with a record of 1-3.
