In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Smith Jewish Day School Lions basketball team scored a big 62-31 triumph over the Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets.

The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Washington International (Washington, DC). The Red Devils go into the DCSAA A contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Washington International smashed Field (Washington, DC), 71-63, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets confront the McLean (Potomac, MD) in a Potomac Valley contest, on Wednesday, December 11. Spencerville Adventist Academy will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 64-58 non-league win over Don Bosco Cristo Rey (Takoma Park, MD).
