The Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Rockingham, VA) basketball edged the visiting Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers (Duffield, VA), 26-20 in Thursday's league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Redeemer Classical for a bout on Monday, December 9. Cornerstone Christian will play a Griffins team coming off a 44-9 league win over United Christian Academy (Stanardsville, VA). The Griffins record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Appalachian Christian School falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Ridgeview Christian (Stuarts Draft, VA) to play the Crusaders in a bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Ridgeview Christian lost 43-25 in their recent league bout against Grace Christian (Staunton, VA)
