In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Goodhue Wildcats basketball team scored a big 68-31 triumph over the Cannon Falls Bombers.

The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Zumbrota-Mazeppa was trounced by Stewartville (Stewartville, MN), 67-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bombers battle the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9. Cannon Falls will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Komets go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 51-50 non-league win over Lourdes (Rochester, MN).
