The Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) basketball crushed the host Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors (Lake Lure, NC), 42-17 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host East Henderson for a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. Chase will play a Eagles team coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Lake Lure Classical Academy falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Raptors host Haywood Christian Academy (Waynesville, NC) to play the Red Wolves in a Western Piedmont bout on Friday, December 6. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a record of 1-3.
