In Thursday's non-league test, the Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN) basketball squad defeated the host Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds (Winthrop, MN), by a final score of 41-24.

Next, the Wolverines clash with the Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers (Glencoe, MN) in a AA Section 2 test, on Friday, December 6. Sibley East will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.

The Thunderbirds (2-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Knights come into the A Section 2 test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, St. Mary's overcame Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN), 64-33, in a league test.
