Washington High School Basketball - Sehome nudges Squalicum

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA) and the visiting Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA), observed Sehome's basketball team edge Squalicum by a score of 44-39.
The Mariners (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Trojans come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Meridian edged Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA), 57-35, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Storm encounter the Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Squalicum will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Turks come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 40-33 non-league loss to Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA).
