The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Stewartville Tigers (Stewartville, MN) and the visiting Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN), observed Stewartville's basketball team overwhelm Zumbrota-Mazeppa by a score of 67-36.

The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pine Island (Pine Island, MN). The Panthers come into the AA Section 1 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Pine Island was ripped by Lake City (Lake City, MN), 66-51, in a league bout.

With the loss, Zumbrota-Mazeppa falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Goodhue (Goodhue, MN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 9. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Goodhue won 68-31 in their recent non-league bout against Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN)
