The Waynesville Spartans basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Valley View Spartans to 32 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Brookville for a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye game on Saturday, December 7. Waynesville will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 51-22 non-league loss to Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Valley View falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH) to confront the Arrows in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Arrows go into the game with a record of 1-2. Preble Shawnee won 41-30 in their recent league game against Dixie (New Lebanon, OH)
