The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the host Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN), observed Lake Central's basketball team overcome Chesterton by a margin of 37-27.

The Indians (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Portage (Portage, IN). The Indians come into the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Portage dropped by Chesterton (Chesterton, IN), 25-11, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Hobart Brickies (Hobart, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Chesterton will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record.
