The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Lawndale Cardinals (Lawndale, CA), observed Venice's basketball team knock off Lawndale by a score of 61-47.

The Gondoliers (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA). The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-3 record.

In their next game, the Cardinals play the St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 7. Lawndale will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 46-41 non-league win over Lawndale (Lawndale, CA).
