The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Richmond Christian Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), observed Steward's basketball team knock off Richmond Christian by a score of 58-39.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot was knocked off by Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA), 56-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the West End Christian Crusaders (Hopewell, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Richmond Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
