Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) and the visiting Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), saw Saugus's soccer squad hold off Canyon by a count of 1-0.

The Centurions (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Valencia (Valencia, CA). The Vikings enter the Foothill battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Valencia was edged by Hart (Newhall, CA), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cowboys confront the Burbank Bulldogs (Burbank, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 6. Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA).
